Strong single ply white paper sacks provide a functional solution for the collection of sensitive documents from offices, hospitals, banks etc. These sacks are being used successfully by C & C Data Destruction Services Limited.

Derrick Cockcroft, Operations Manager, comments: “We had tried several types of sacks but the big disadvantage was that none of them could be shredded, which meant you had lots of sacks left over after shredding. What we really wanted was one made from paper. One reason is that you can shred the sack as well, which avoids the danger of sensitive documents being accidentally left in the bags. It can be difficult to see a white document against a white bag. Destroying the sack removes that risk.” “There have been significant savings because it was previously a very labour intensive process gathering up all the sacks that were left after the documents had been shredded. Being able to destroy the sack as well has meant significant reductions in our costs.”
