The environmental work must be an integral part of the company’s operations. Customers and the surroundings must associate our products with the consideration of nature, a good environment and a responsible use of natures resources.

In consideration of technical opportunities and financial propriety Segezha Packaging will improve the environmental effort and prevent pollution by:

• Obeying existing legislation and authority permissions.
• Estimating and carry through new opportunities for use of a cleaner technology and methods.
• Protecting the environment by reducing the relative consumption of resources and materials.
• Reducing production waste and the quantity of waste.
• Minimizing discharges from our processes.
• Prompting our suppliers to deliver environmentally proper products and services.
• Ensuring a continuous focus on the working environment via working place evaluations, with the purpose of further developing a healthy and secure place of work for our employees.
• Motivating all employees through training and information to work according to the environmental policy.
• Maintaining and further developing  an environmental management system which later on can be certified after DS/ISO 14001.
• Setting and evaluating goals for the future environmental effort once a year.
• Open dialogue with customers, authorities and other interested parties regarding the company’s environmental conditions.
