EcoSack - a major supplier of 100% guaranteed biodegradeable paper sacks for the collection of garden, kitchen and paper waste.

All papers used are from an FSC approved resource and all sacks are covered by Environmental Certificates from Din Certco, as approved by the Composting Association, OK Compost and Kiwa Milieukeur.

The sacks range from the 8 litre kitchen caddy liners through the 75 litre garden and paper waste to the 240 litre wheelie bin liners. Differing paper specifications are used to ensure that the sacks fully meet the specific recycling requirements.

We also manufacture a strong single ply white sack for the collection of Confidential Waste. The whole sack and its contents can be shredded thereby completely removing the possibility of a secure document being left in the container.

Paper is made from cultivated trees, a renewable resource which helps in the control of Greenhouse gases by absorbing carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen for the whole life of the tree, some 70 years. Young trees give off more oxygen and absorb more Carbon Dioxide than older trees The harvesting of trees is carefully managed and controlled to ensure the natural growth of the forest. Trees create a stable environment for the local flora and fauna by protecting against soil erosion, giving shade and preventing wind damage.

When composted, all valuable elements are returned to nature. It is vital that forests are maintained to provide a natural habitat for wildlife.
